Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - General PACU
Full-Time - Rotating Shift -Primarily days with 3 nights per 8 weeks; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Baltimore, Maryland
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to provide high-acuity nursing for our General PACU Nursing Team.
The General PACU is a 28-bed unit in the Weinberg building and is divided into two areas: the main PACU and the Pre-Op Holding Area. Vigilant pre and post-operative care is provided to outpatients and inpatients of varying levels of acuity undergoing scheduled or emergency surgery by our more than 20 surgical and procedural services. Patients are primarily adults, with pediatric patients cared for outside of the Pediatric Surgery Center's hours of operation. Nurses on this team must be passionate, energetic, and high-functioning professionals skilled in interdisciplinary collaboration, looking for a complex and dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications
* Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice under a compact license;
* BSN preferred (Associates Nurses will be considered with 1+ years of experience);
* At least 1-2 years preferred, experience as an ICU nurse in an inpatient facility, outpatient surgical office, or other environment performing surgical services to patients.
