Sales Territory Manager – Position Description

East Nashville Beer Works is looking for a high-energy, motivated sales person to represent us in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee market, our home market, as well as for the time being a minor role in sales efforts for the rest of the State of TN. In this role, you will be integral in building and expanding our distribution footprint in Nashville and the surrounding Nashville markets, building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, and helping grow on- and off-premise sales volume. Secondarily, the position will push sales forward in East and West TN markets. This role will be the main point of contact with on- and off-premise accounts throughout the State of TN as both a brand representative and primary sales contact. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Promotes and builds the East Nashville Beer Works brand by visiting restaurants, bars, grocery, and liquor stores to build rapport with buyers, managers, and other key stakeholders, making 40-50 in person sales calls per week.
• Coordinates with Tennessee wholesaler and distributor area reps (currently Bounty Bev for Middle TN and Best Brands Inc. for East and West TN)
• Manages and maintains key account relationships
• Source, manage, and conduct events for on-/off-premise tastings (when applicable)
• Work other events that build the ENBW brand such as “Fridays by the River” our Shelby Park pop-up event in the spring and fall, Beer Festivals to meet accounts and push our shelf pull, and any marketing or branding event opportunity
• Solicit market feedback to help build and grow the Nashville brand and distribution footprint

Accountability, Management & Communication

• Utilize KARMA CRM (VIP's CRM) for reporting all sales calls and market data
• Understand and utilize VIP reporting system and Best Brands’ internal system to see when accounts are ordering beer
• This position reports directly to the President/Owner
• Internal reporting and communication on account check-ins and sales
• Effective communication with ENBW leadership team to promote sales and distribution efforts

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of outside alcohol sales or experience in the alcohol industry (e.g. beer buyer, taproom, retail alcohol, or sales experience preferred)
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Excellent organizational skills when managing account lists and inventories
• Able to travel to brewery taproom and accounts in the Metro Nashville area, and occasional travel to East and West TN.
• 21+ years old
• Driver’s license & reliable vehicle
• Knowledgeable of craft beer and brewing
• Comfortable talking with customers about craft beer and brewing

COMPENSATION

• $40,000 base + bonus based on commission of sales, up to $60K year one
• Gas and travel reimbursement
• Monthly Budget for market spend
